Of Your Self

Think about how you bare your soul and essence of your whole being to yourself!

From exploring the world through your child eyes to figuring out where you fit in as a teenager to discovering who you are in your 20’s.

Are you in a discovery phase? Who Am I? How Do I Tick? Have you started on your journey of self?

Where do you see yourself in this big world!

Saying Yes! To Love

Remember to take 5 minutes to 30 minutes to an hour and just be, especially with yourself! Self love and self care and compassion. Communicating and interacting. Engaging and connecting. Healthiness and happiness. 

  • Do a self check to determine your needs. Are your needs connecting to your “whys”?
  • Do make time for yourself and your whole, well being. What do you want to do?
  • Do more of what you love to do.
  • Do get curious to explore and adventure. Add in some play time.
  • Do have fun learning by trying new things.

Find what makes you joyful, gives you pleasure and makes you the happiest! 

Saying Yes! To Nurturing & Nourishing

How do you nurture and nourish your whole being?

  • Relaxing and resting.
  • Being present and mindful.
  • Finding your form of meditation.

Being present and sharing that presence of self can be powerful and intense to yourself as well as others!  You are connecting at a deeper level. It is refreshing and re-energizing. It is freeing and liberating!

Saying Yes! To Who You Are

How do you do for your whole, well being?

  • Building a solid foundation to live from.
  • Developing your coping toolkit. To heal, release and let go of what is not in your best interest.
  • Creating the space and boundaries that you need. Mentally and emotionally as well as physically and spiritually.
  • Being yourself and true to who you are. To really be your own person and stand on your own.
  • Tuning into your beliefs and what you value. To experience growth to transform.
  • Rooting yourself through your beliefs and to trust in yourself.

What truly matters the most to you! You can be authentic and show vulnerability and have humility. That is the essence of being human! 

Say Yes! To Community

Have you found your small tribe? Where you can be you?

  • To inspire and motivate.
  • To communicate and connect.
  • To guide and support.

Inspire and move yourself and others by what you are doing! You and your stories. Your creations and experiences. Your passions and loves. Your talents and gifts. 

  • To share learning lessons, experiences and life in general.
  • To cope and heal.

To shift and change by learning and developing! Gaining those life experiences and make lasting memories. To transition and transform through experiencing growth!

Say Yes! To Intuition

How do you tune and tap into your intuitive self?

  • Finding your voice to express yourself.
  • Accepting who you are.
  • Embracing your talents and gifts.
  • Listening to yourself as well as giving that gift of listening to others.
  • Trusting your gut.
  • Coming from a place of love by following your heart.
  • Letting your inner child out to explore and play.

Do you love you for you! What drives you. What do you want to give your energy to. What part of you needs you to pay attention and listen to it, especially what it needs and its “whys”!

How do you go about making it happen?

Do you make time for you? You need to!

What do you love to do with the time you make for yourself?

  • Doing more of what you love.
  • Turning your focus inward.
  • Working on development and growth.
  • Playing, laughing and having fun.
  • Anything, NOTHING and every thing in between.

Remember to relax, kick back and daydream! It helps you pause to reflect as well as release and let go. It helps you imagine and tune into your creative being. It helps you set intentions to achieve your goals!

Remember to ask yourself your “whys” to answer your needs and desires! Listen to your inner voice and let it guide you. Tune into your creative being to set yourself to flow freely. Really tap into what you love to drive your motivations, passions and ambitions! 

No matter how much time you spend (i.e. 5 minutes, a few hours, etc.) just remember to be consistent and committed to carving out that time for yourself! You will start to see the progress as well as the results. You will start to feel relaxed, re-energized, refreshed, and recharged. You will have started a new practice for yourself to learn and develop as well as experience growth and gain experiences!

  • Are you serving your best interests?

You need to know the “whys” when it comes to what you need and want as well as crave and desire! Being mindful and fully aware. Tuning into your senses. You also need to know how to release and let go of what is no longer serving your best interests! 

  • Are you stunting your growth in any way?

You matter and are important! If you are willing and open, you are more than capable. You have to open yourself up to the possibilities and opportunities!

  • Are you sticking to your rules when it comes to acting?

Sometimes your mind rules your actions! You may have to throw out the rule book. You may need to let your heart in to play more! 

  • Are you proactive or reactive?

You need to make the time to connect with your whole being! Find that quiet space to center and connect. Reflect and release. Discover the movement and flow to your whole being again! 


Being . . . Creating . . . Living . . .

Your Dimension

You are more than one dimension! You have breadth by learning, developing and growing. You have depth through your experiences. All of what you experience enhances and expands you and your world!

A major part of adding dimension is through building a relationship with yourself!

  • Believing and trusting in yourself.
  • Knowing how you want to be treated to value yourself and your worth.
  • Nurturing and nourishing yourself and your whole being.
  • Answering those “whys” to ask for what you need.
  • Well being through self being; love, kindness, care, compassion, etc.

Your Journey

Remember you are the author in creating your story! You are the navigator in your journey!

It is about learning from the past and being in the present! What do you need? Are you being true to who you are? Be an active participant and show up for you in living your life!

Natural Movement

What Are You Practicing?

I have been thinking about movement lately, especially forward movement. For instance, why do some movements seem so natural while others seem like you are continuously pushing a boulder up a very steep hill. You either keep pushing or have a boulder coming at you like Indiana Jones in that one movie. Your body and your body language speak volumes!

How and when do you stop pushing and just try and go with the flow? Especially when you are not the go with the flow type. Scheduled versus spontaneity. Learning to navigate or asking someone else for directions. Mind and body working together as one! 


Moving . . .

You have choices, especially to choose what works best for you! Weighing the pros and the cons. To practice, learn and develop. To progress to experience growth and gain life experiences. To find your “whys” in what you need!

To learn more about who you are and how you work! To find your potential as well as your talents and gifts. To discover what matters most. To create and live!

  • To achieve and be successful.
  • To be happy and healthy whole, well beings.
  • To living the simpler life.

I have learned that a good majority of things can be doable, changeable, fixable . . . Also, survivable! Creating and recreating. Changing and adapting. Transitioning and transforming. You are in charge to be who you are and to create (i.e. a life, happiness, health, etc.) and live for yourself!

What Are You Desiring

Do you believe in manifesting attraction you get what you wish for?

Think about . . .

#1 – Creating reality.

Can you create your reality?

You have the power to control and drive. Of course to a degree since some things are out of our control. Through that power you make decisions and choices for yourself. Through that control you have the ability to respond or react as well as take action or not.

As surely as mountains are to be climbed and oceans sailed, your dreams are meant to come true.
This is why you’re here, to live the life of your dreams.
Not to be tested, challenged, and tried, but to conquer, champion, and rule.
Keep going, forge ahead, press on, 
and the day must dawn when your thirsts shall be quenched, and you, exalted.

#2 – Cultivating attraction.

How do you cultivate attraction for yourself? 

Ask yourself those “whys”. To understand and define what you need.

  • Why do you need what you desire?
  • Why is it a need vs. a want?

Ask yourself those “whats”. To create, attract and/or manifest to make it happen (aka become reality).

  • What intentions are you setting?
  • What steps/goals will you take to reach your desired outcome?
  • What action(s) do you take to bring it to fruition?

Life can only give you what you are prepared to receive.

How To Attract . . .

Where does that attraction come from to get what you need and want as well as crave and desire?

  • Building self confidence and independence.
  • Taking risks.
  • Learning to develop and experience growth.
  • Gaining experiences.

Confidence is not about being fearless and reckless. It is your ability to be aware of your fears. Do you know your strengths as well as your weaknesses? Do you own your power and strength and use that to your best advantage! 

It is about believing in yourself and being true to who you are. Do you like “you”? Do you know what you do well at? That is a powerful attractor asset to have! 

Do you make time for you? To take care of you and your needs! Do you spend time working on you, especially in knowing your abilities and skills? This helps you be confident, independent and self sufficient!

Easy Does It

For 2017

Here we are in May 2017. Did you ease into 2017? Or Was it more like a rush with a hop, skip and jump added in? Continuously remind yourself to keep in simple, okay!

1st – You are your own top priority! Self care is important and not selfish. Taking care of yourself gives you more energy to be there for yourself as well as for others. It matters in being an active and productive being too!

  • Love you for who you are.
  • Give YOU self love and self care.
  • Believe, value and trust yourself.
  • Be your best friend, greatest cheerleader and biggest supporter.

When you come from a place of love in following your heart you experience, grow and transition! Think about your successes and milestones. Think about your missteps and failures. Think about the opportunities and possibilities. What are are you going for and putting yourself out there to be and do?

Be mindful to be inspired, motivated and productive! To find direction, meaning and purpose. To tune into your emotions, feelings and thoughts. Remember to check in with yourself and your whole being too! 

2nd – Your health and wellness is number one and the rest is secondary! Find that health, wellness and happy lifestyle choice that works best for your whole being. Remember to relax and rest as well as release and let go of what is no longer serving you. Your being will thank you for how it feels!

  • Instead of thinking urgency give yourself the freedom to control the speed.
  • Communicate and listen as well as connect and engage you, yourself and your whole being.

Discover the best parts of yourself and find your loves and passions! You need to love you for you and support your own growth. You need to hold firm to your values and appreciate who you really are. You need to create space and set boundaries. The only one that is going to do that for you is YOU! 

Learn how to listen! Tuning and tapping into the inner you. Building and deepening those connections with yourself and your greatest someones. Engaging your mind and heart to be active, experience growth and gain life experiences!

3rd – You are responsible and accountable when it comes to driving your own life! Time is precious as well as limited so use it well. Really tune into what you love to do and make the time to do it. Remind yourself what truly matters to you in living your life!

  • Own your power and create great energy for your whole being.

You find your center as well as that balance between your mind and your heart! You find that focus to drive you and your passions and ambitions. You use your time more efficiently and your energy more effectively. You remain true to who you are by living from within!

You need to believe in your own abilities! You have the knowledge, resources and tools to problem solve and make decisions that are best for you. You have the ability to learn and develop as well experience growth and gain experiences. Really tune into your inner being and what you need, crave, want, and desire!

4th – You need to play, laugh and have fun! Get curious and explore. Discover the NEW! Find the simple and light hearted through your joy, healthiness, happiness, and wellness!

  • What do you dream about?
  • What do you desire?
  • What drives you?

Really connect to your creative self and engage your mind to be free, loose and creative! Expose yourself to the NEW! Take what you know or are learning to the next level. Let go, make mistakes, and really reveal your abilities and capabilities! 

Be in the present moment focused on that task at hand! You can multitask later. Stop to breathe, slow down to pause. Try stilling your being, clearing your mind and connecting to your inner being in your whys, needs and craves!

Intuitive Self Care

For Your Whole Well Being

Do you take 5 minutes or even 30 minutes to tune into your intuitive self?

  • To unleash your imagination.
  • To get curious.
  • To do absolutely nothing.

To tune into yourself and tune everything else out!

Being able to listen and act on your intuition is possible and with a little practice soon enough becomes second nature! You learn to believe and trust in yourself, especially in making decisions and choices. You learn to think more clearly and that gives you clarity in tuning into your intuition and coming from a place of love by following your heart. You learn to be one with yourself and tap into what you need, want, desire, and crave!

Does your intuitive self crave creativity and/or exploration? To play, laugh and have fun. Do you integrate creativity throughout your day? To find that inspiration and motivation. Creativity is good for the whole well being; mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. 

Getting creative is like breathing and moving. It promotes self love and self confidence. It cultivates healthiness and happiness. It creates innovation and thinking outside the box. It gives you a mood booster as well as an energy booster!

Some Creative Ideas to Consider Doing

  • Drawing or coloring.
  • Journaling or writing.
  • Singing or playing a musical instrument.
  • Listening to music or dancing.
  • Tuning into the “green spaces” either indoors or outdoors.
  • Gathering inspiration and motivation through various mediums.
  • Tapping into your senses.
  • Wondering and wandering.

DO What MOVES You!!! Spark your curiosity. Make the world come alive around you. Discover the magic that lets your creative being come out to play!

Just imagine how much more aware and awake you can be by tuning into your intuition! How much more you will open yourself up to experience. How much more you will want to slow down the pace to soak it in and savor it. How much more you will be in the present moment and just want to be!

Getting to the Heart . . .

For me it is a multitude of things.

  • Putting the “over” on the down low and remembering to keep it simple.
  • Being more . . . mindful, present, aware, grateful, focused, thankful, etc.
  • Becoming a better person and putting my best self out there each and every day.
  • Doing more of what I love because it inspires, motivates and drives me to get out there to experience life.
  • Coming from a place of love and following my heart’s needs and wants as well as dreams and desires.

Here is how I am putting my word, manifesting, into action for 2017!

Capturing

Do you make time to dream, imagine, visualize? What do you do with those thoughts (i.e. vision board, picture book, inspiration cloud, etc.)?

Focus on the now! What do you need and want as well as crave and desire? Think about manifesting! Imagine and picture yourself going after it. Nurture, nourish, drive, and fuel IT!

Focusing In & On . . .

Creating

Do you have a hobby? Do you give yourself the time and the space to enjoy that hobby?

Unleash your creative being! It can boost your mood, energy and spirit. It can give you inspiration and motivation as well as reflection and relaxation. It can get your whole being flowing and moving again. Remember to tap into your creative side!

Focusing

Do you ever feel like you do not multitask well? I do, so you are not alone. At times multitasking is overload for the mind and body coordination and may create errors, burn out, disruption, distraction, etc. Think about how your whole being feels doing one thing at a time! 

Yes you can do anything you put your mind, body and soul into, however; you cannot do everything! Remember that! 

Practice being present and focusing in on the now and what deserves your attention! Build a healthier and happier relationship with yourself in setting boundaries, creating space and giving yourself a little slack too. Your whole being will thank you for unplugging and giving it some much needed R&R!

Stretching

Do you stretch your comfort zone to try new things?

  • To travel and adventure.
  • To explore and experiment.
  • To connect and engage.
  • To communicate to interact.
  • To learn to develop.
  • To experience growth to gain experiences.

Filling Your Bucket . . .

It may be a little uncomfortable at times to stretch, but with practice you will figure out what you like and do not like to feel more at ease! You may become more flexible and adaptable. You may want to take a little risk in exploring and experimenting in trying new things. You learn to not be so fearful or afraid in making mistakes and learn a little humility when it comes to failures. Get out there, go for it and embrace the challenges and the successes! 

Wandering

My favorite form of reflection, relaxation and/or meditation is wandering! aka Escaping to the Great Outdoors. I refresh and recharge my whole being. I feel like a better person too!

Found It!

The Word I Have Been Looking For

I have been in a writing rut lately and for about a month I have had a word escape the fore front of my mind to end up stuck on the tip of my tongue. I cannot remember the word though that escaped until recently when it shouted out to me. This will be my word for 2017!

MANIFEST

What do you do with what you hope and wish for? Want and crave? Dream and desire? Visualize the details to the big picture?

You take it and manifest it aka Go For It & Do It! Then Manifest More of it! 

We all are capable of attracting what we need through our decisions and choices! You have to step out of your way and stop putting obstacles up. You have to release resistance by tuning into your insecurities and fears by coming from a place of love and from within yourself. We are all capable of attracting abundance in our lives by manifesting it!

Not only do you create the space you need, you set the boundaries too! Find your path to journey along. Create your story chapter by chapter. Discover the life that you MANIFEST each and every day by doing and going for it! 

  • My biggest take away from 2016 is having to remind myself to slow down and keep it more simple.
  • The best advice I received in 2016 is that it is less traumatic when you make mistakes daily instead of one day having one mistake that just trips you up and knocks you down.
  • Most of all is LOVE as well as being appreciative, thankful and grateful for what you do have in your life!

If I learned anything in 2016 it was that the work continues! Really think about what is optimal and sustainable for you and what works best for you too. Then start doing it! In a short period of time you may see a difference in your productivity and energy. It is okay to slow the pace down at times and take the time to relax and rest!

You are worthy and you are deserving! You have to be open to receiving what the world has to offer you by learning, experiencing growth and gaining life experiences. Remember that!

Also Remember  . . .

  • Schedule you into your week by taking 5 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour to be with yourself.
  • Move your body every hour (i.e. stretch, get out of your chair, take the stairs, go for a walk, etc.).
  • Make time to play and have some much deserved fun time.
  • Find that quiet place to take a few minutes to relax, recharge, release, and rest.
  • Practice self-care in being and doing for you and your whole well being.
  • Take time off for your health and sanity.
