Gaining – Part II

Through Creating . . .

Remember when you were a child and given a stack of blank paper to get your creative on. I reflect back on that blank page and getting to do whatever I wanted with it. I recently learned I want more of that in my adult life.

What does creativity truly mean to you and your whole being?

  • Just trying something.
  • Being inspired and motivated.
  • Just making something.
  • Being passionate and creative.

It is taking yourself out of being one-dimensional and being multi-faceted again! Find that curiosity and creativity again. Wonder and wander. We all are many things and not just one!

Getting your creative on helps in many ways!

You are able to open up more! Find solutions to solve what is challenging you. Taking chances and maybe even some risks. Increased motivation to do more of what you love to do and have a passion for!

You seek to explore the opportunities and experiences! To find the positive and the pursuit. To expand and discover the inspiration and wonderment. For enjoyment and fulfillment!

To just go after what you want and make things happen!

Practicing Activity

One Step At A Time . . .

Here’s a challenge for you.

Do the thing you are most likely to procrastinate on and maybe place it in the first position to tackle for the day!

Especially if that thing is something you have put off and keep putting off! At times you feel so much better after tackling it. You may even feel a little lighter and freer too!

  • Experiment and explore.
  • Wonder and wander.
  • Learn and grow.
  • Create and color outside the lines.
  • Inspire and engage.
  • Movement and involvement.
  • Motivation and energy.

Get Creative

What creative things do you do to get out of your head?

My top two creatives are photography and writing. I also like to get my exercise on, especially in nature.

Sometimes we become one-dimensional! We many even start associating ourselves to one identity (i.e. work, parent, student, etc.). That is okay, however; most of us are more than one identity in the lives we live each and every day. Whatever you call it you may be in a bit of a rut!

Time to shift and re-engage! Carve out some “me” time and do something creative, playful and fun for a change of pace. It gets you out of your thinking head space too!

It is sometimes the simplest and smallest things that can get you out of your own head too!

Happenstance

Do you tune into coincidences? I like to think of them as signs or directions to support me on my path while I journey along. A call to pay attention, focus and redirect. Here is your sign!

Some times I am pretty attentive and other times I need the sign to jump out at me! 

Do you try to make sense of them? Learning from them or even trusting them. Communicating and responding. Connecting and engaging. Creating that space for yourself to go within yourself!

Are you experiencing or reacting? If you are reacting you may need to adjust and may even come to the realization it is no longer serving you in a good way. Becoming aware of what works best for you matters to you and your whole, well being. You start to open yourself up to experience and may even grow and change for the better!

Are you creating the space you need? The space where you do not feel stuck and if you do knowing how to get unstuck. The space where you can handle a fork in the road. The space to continue moving forward and when it is time to simple let go. Especially in knowing what is serving you and what is not!

Are you making time to just get lost? Get curious and explore. Daydream and ponder. Wander and wonder. Maybe even allow your intuition and inner desires to guide and direct you! 

Being able to shift your reality! Practicing and trying the NEW! Learning to embrace change. Growing and experiencing. Creating openness to the limitless possibilities and endless opportunities!

Making the time to become one with your whole being! Your emotions, thoughts and feelings. The mental and emotional as well as the physical and spiritual. Your beliefs and values. Creating your reality by aligning your “whys” in what you need and what you want in living your life!

Really think about reconnecting to the inner you to tune into your intuition! Your beliefs and values. Your ability to change and adapt. Your desires and passions. Your ability to be flexible and have humility. Get to know who you are!

Really listen to yourself and your truth! It is very much a practice of one’s balance and alignment. It creates motion and movement. Embrace in your life experiences and engage in your growth!

  • To trust yourself.
  • To treat yourself how you want to be treated.

Do you think about creating that vacation mode at home? Taking one day to do what you want even if it is doing nothing. Breaking up the routine with NO alarms, schedules and plans. At least making time to take 30-minutes for your whole, well being!

I think about window shopping!

  1. Choose an area to explore.
  2. Turn off your phone and tap into your natural surroundings.
  3. Stop when you want to.
  4. Maybe step in to check something out that calls to you.
  5. Smile and laugh.
  6. Play and have fun.
  7. Break the routine, have nothing planned and just get out to experience!

3 Years Reflection

If you asked me three years ago am I living where I want to live, I would state I am making it work. Now I can state I am. I do think about the place I am at and the places I have been that make me a happier as well as a healthier being.

Creating

Are you being true to who you are and where you want to be?

  • What are you creating?
  • What are you making space for?

Take the time to go within yourself to reflect and ponder as well as make those life decisions and choices! 

Being you requires courage, but the freedom that comes from it will be worth it.

The more you show up as your authentic self, the more your life will flow.

Ask yourself those million dollar questions too!

  • What are your “whys” in your needs?
  • What are you doing to live your life?
  • What is that ONE THING you really need or want as well as crave and desire?

What Truly Matters!

Cultivating

Do not forget the opportunity to experience growth! Make time for it for you and your whole being. It is important and a major part of the love and care you have for yourself. Really think about who you are as well as what you want to attract in living your life! 

  • Learning and developing.
  • Experiencing growth.
  • Gaining life experiences and memories.
  • Weaknesses into strengths.
  • Mistakes into successes.
  • Failures into opportunities.

Your personal growth comes within yourself! Believing, valuing and trusting yourself. That feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction. That coming full circle for completeness. Even when you are challenged you are growing!

Find that passion to be and to do! Being passionate in all you do is inspiring, motivating, fulfilling, satisfying, etc. Being open to trying new things and stretching your comfort zone. Going for what really speaks to your whole being!

It is okay to shift and adjust as well as change and transition! The hardest part is letting it happen naturally and not forcing it upon yourself. However, you do not have to settle either. It is about finding that balance and practicing the process. Really define what is truly important and is meaningful to you!

  • Possibilities and priorities.
  • Clarity and alignment.
  • Calmness and confidence.
  • Inspiration and passion.
  • Motivation and movement.
  • Curiosity and exploration.
  • Ponder and create.

What Makes You Happy and Moving to Your Own Beat!

Think about . . .

  • What do you want to feel as much as possible?

Then send it out there to share with yourself and others!

  • What do you want others to feel when around you?

Find that “something” that gets you involved and engaged! Contribute and maybe even give a little dedication to it if it is something you really love. Find that “something” your own way too! You are the only one that knows what that looks like and how to go about it.

In contributing to yourself as well as others you are expanding, deepening, growing, experiencing, etc! You are being true to who you are by believing, valuing and trusting yourself. You find your drive and purpose in living your life. It is a process so ease into it and figure it out as you journey along!

Manifesting “Whys”

Seeking Your “Whys” In What You Need

I have been thinking about being tested lately.

  • How do you find the gratitude to be grateful?
  • How do you feel blessed?
  • How do you wrap your head around it? Let alone make peace with it.

I am sure we all have thoughts of why me, why was I chosen! Determination versus denial. Resilience versus challenge. Gratitude and hope for the good, the bad and everything in between!

It is so we can teach ourselves as well as others how to be strong! 

  • With love and support.
  • With our biggest cheerleaders by our sides cheering us on.
  • With time and healing.
  • With determination and strength.
  • With resilience and the ability to cope (aka hope).
  • By building each other up when everything else around us seems to be breaking down.

It is so we can determine why we need what we need! The possibilities and opportunities. The gifts and the blessings. When your “whys” come to fruition in what you need! 

Do you reflect on . . .

  • Your blessings.
  • Your opportunities that you have been given.
  • Your gifts that you are grateful to have.
  • Your life experiences and memories that you treasure.

I think about anticipation, attraction and action! What is your purpose? Seeking and searching . . . Where are you being directed? Discovering and exploring . . . Taking action!

  • How do you anticipate what you need?
  • How do you attract your “whys” to get what you need?
  • How do you put those “whys” into action to go after what you need?

Are you anticipating the next thing once you have what you need? Or Do you savor the moment?

Do you expect instant gratification at times? Especially in having technology at your fingertips.

Really think about what you are inviting into your life!

  • The challenges that help you experience growth.
  • The lessons learned along with the experiences.
  • The possibilities and opportunities as well as the chances and risks given and taken.
  • The tough times that test your strength and endurance.
  • The memories created that tell your story as you journey along.

It matters and makes it so worth it! Gratitude keeps hope alive. Healing is learning, especially in learning how to let go. Embracing the opportunities to help you realize your dreams can come true!

Your Story

How are you self discovering who you truly are?

It is funny when you think you have it figured out and then it changes up on you!

How do you handle it?

  • Do you hold on or let go, especially if it is no longer serving you.
  • Do you weigh the pros and the cons.
  • Do you find the calm in the chaos to help you move forward.
  • Do you confront whatever it is in order to heal and love your whole being.
  • Do you embrace it to learn, develop and grow.

What are you creating in your life? What are you inviting into your life?

  • Etc., etc., etc.!!!

Really discovering our strong to be warriors! Owning your power, control and energies. Being open to the opportunities as well as taking risks. Being brave to live the life you need, want and desire. Truly loving you for you and who you are!

By living the good life in being true to who you are! An honest and deeper relationship with yourself. A genuine and abundant way to live life!

Of Your Self

Think about how you bare your soul and essence of your whole being to yourself!

From exploring the world through your child eyes to figuring out where you fit in as a teenager to discovering who you are in your 20’s.

Are you in a discovery phase? Who Am I? How Do I Tick? Have you started on your journey of self?

Where do you see yourself in this big world!

Saying Yes! To Love

Remember to take 5 minutes to 30 minutes to an hour and just be, especially with yourself! Self love and self care and compassion. Communicating and interacting. Engaging and connecting. Healthiness and happiness. 

  • Do a self check to determine your needs. Are your needs connecting to your “whys”?
  • Do make time for yourself and your whole, well being. What do you want to do?
  • Do more of what you love to do.
  • Do get curious to explore and adventure. Add in some play time.
  • Do have fun learning by trying new things.

Find what makes you joyful, gives you pleasure and makes you the happiest! 

Saying Yes! To Nurturing & Nourishing

How do you nurture and nourish your whole being?

  • Relaxing and resting.
  • Being present and mindful.
  • Finding your form of meditation.

Being present and sharing that presence of self can be powerful and intense to yourself as well as others!  You are connecting at a deeper level. It is refreshing and re-energizing. It is freeing and liberating!

Saying Yes! To Who You Are

How do you do for your whole, well being?

  • Building a solid foundation to live from.
  • Developing your coping toolkit. To heal, release and let go of what is not in your best interest.
  • Creating the space and boundaries that you need. Mentally and emotionally as well as physically and spiritually.
  • Being yourself and true to who you are. To really be your own person and stand on your own.
  • Tuning into your beliefs and what you value. To experience growth to transform.
  • Rooting yourself through your beliefs and to trust in yourself.

What truly matters the most to you! You can be authentic and show vulnerability and have humility. That is the essence of being human! 

Say Yes! To Community

Have you found your small tribe? Where you can be you?

  • To inspire and motivate.
  • To communicate and connect.
  • To guide and support.

Inspire and move yourself and others by what you are doing! You and your stories. Your creations and experiences. Your passions and loves. Your talents and gifts. 

  • To share learning lessons, experiences and life in general.
  • To cope and heal.

To shift and change by learning and developing! Gaining those life experiences and make lasting memories. To transition and transform through experiencing growth!

Say Yes! To Intuition

How do you tune and tap into your intuitive self?

  • Finding your voice to express yourself.
  • Accepting who you are.
  • Embracing your talents and gifts.
  • Listening to yourself as well as giving that gift of listening to others.
  • Trusting your gut.
  • Coming from a place of love by following your heart.
  • Letting your inner child out to explore and play.

Do you love you for you! What drives you. What do you want to give your energy to. What part of you needs you to pay attention and listen to it, especially what it needs and its “whys”!

  • Working on development and growth.

Remember to relax, kick back and daydream! It helps you pause to reflect as well as release and let go. It helps you imagine and tune into your creative being. It helps you set intentions to achieve your goals!

Remember to ask yourself your “whys” to answer your needs and desires! Listen to your inner voice and let it guide you. Tune into your creative being to set yourself to flow freely. Really tap into what you love to drive your motivations, passions and ambitions! 

No matter how much time you spend (i.e. 5 minutes, a few hours, etc.) just remember to be consistent and committed to carving out that time for yourself! You will start to see the progress as well as the results. You will start to feel relaxed, re-energized, refreshed, and recharged. You will have started a new practice for yourself to learn and develop as well as experience growth and gain experiences!
