BEing

BE Curious

Get curious and explore! Let your creative side loose. Let your inner kid come out to play, laugh and have fun. Be and do what makes you happy and makes your whole being feel good!

Here’s another thought on being curious . . . do you tune and tap into what you are EXPERIENCING in your curiosity! 

What are you experiencing?

  • It it a teaching lesson.
  • It is a growth experience.
  • Do you just need to be with yourself for that moment.
  • Does it require no action and doing nothing in that moment.
  • Does it require you to act and take action.
  • Are you in a place of awareness.

It takes you and the experience to another level in connecting and engaging! Pause to soak it in. Center to focus in. Check in your whole being to experience!

Think about discovery and the possibilities waiting out there for you to grab!

BE Open

Are you on auto pilot or manual? Practice listening instead of speaking and/or doing. Tune in versus out. Be alert and open. Be awake and aware. What is at least one thing you can take away or learn today?

  • To be open and put yourself out there to learn, grow and experience.
  • To be the best version of yourself and to do that through self love, care, kindness, and compassion.
  • To be flexible in exploring and discovering as well as growing and experiencing.

Think about movement! To give you clarity and calmness. To give you balance and stability. To wander and ponder. It helps you work through things, figure out solutions and just keep moving!

To Just BE

  • To be mindful and present.
  • To be your time keeper in how and what you spend your time and energy on.

Think about being completely present in what you are doing right at that moment! Make the time to focus on the task at hand. To be fully engaged and connected. It is so worth it!

BE the Stretch

How can you stretch your comfort zone? It truly starts from within in how you feel. That inquiry in asking yourself what you need and why!

  • Finding the meaning and what matters in your why.
  • Awakening and growing . . .
  • Opening yourself up to the possibilities.
  • Discovering and experiencing . . .
  • Putting your focus and energy on what you truly need.
  • Empowering and emerging . . .

Think about quality versus quantity when it comes to your being, health and wellness and life in general!

BE the Moment

What are those moments that made you proud that you went for it and did it?

  • Those moments that are exciting and freeing at the same time.
  • Those moments that make you satisfied and fulfilled.
  • Those moments where your whole being is in play; mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually! 

 That is authentic and abundance all rolled into one whole package! To be strong in your whys and empowered to meet your needs. To reach your full potential by knowing who you are and what works best for you.  That self reflection, that self inquiry, that self check . .

Let It Be

“Words of Wisdom”

I recently read an article about letting things be! I know I have discussed releasing and letting go on my blog. However, this got me thinking. There is a difference when it comes to “letting go” versus “letting be”! 

  • Letting be versus fixing.
  • Loosening versus eliminating.
  • Easing versus “over” . . .
  • Simplifying versus complicating.

In letting things be you create space to respond and/or react to what is happening to you. Also, to what is going on around you. To actively listen in order to connect to yourself in how you receive and respond to yourself as well as others.

  • Do you have control?
  • Do you have a choice?

At the heart of it though is creating that space you need for you!

Think about tuning into your comfort levels too!

  • To love you for you through kindness, care and compassion.
  • To let yourself be who you are.
  • To be and do for you.
  • To take time to relax and rest.
  • To make time for you and your needs.

Manifesting Strength

Physically and Mentally

Do you believe in the correlation between your physical strength and your mental strength?

I do! I find that tapping into my physical strength means tuning into my mental strength. Also, tuning into my emotions, feelings and thoughts. I communicate and connect better to myself as well as at times to others too!

Then there is that realization of what your body can truly do when you put your mind to it too! Through your overall strength you find confidence and comfort. Safety and security. You may surprise yourself by taking a “I cannot do this.” to “I CAN do this!”.

Through your practicing you find your flexibility and adaptability.

  • You may find joy and pleasure in discovering what you like to do.
  • You may find a playfulness to have fun doing what you like to do.
  • You may find inspiration in looking forward to something and motivation in what excites you.
  • You may find passion and creativeness in tapping into your potential, talents and gifts.

Through your abilities you find your determination and drive! You may even fall in love with your whole body too. You are changing and transforming for the better!

When you appreciate what your body can do you start to enjoy the practice. You take an interest and challenge yourself. You stretch yourself to try a little harder. You may even try new things to see what you like to do!

A Heart to Heart

Get Out Of My Head

Do you get stuck in your head? Thinking, processing, thinking some more . . .

I do! I tend to get stuck in my head every once in a while. When I do I find whatever I am doing less enjoyable!

Sync & Synergy

How do you sync your mind and heart to create synergy? 

Thinking with your mind while leading with your heart. To lead more with your heart instead of being in your head.


Heart to Heart

I find that it comes more natural when I believe and trust in myself! Tuning into the intuition and tapping into those gut instincts. Especially when something is new that you have never done before.

Think about how you listen to your body! Valuing and believing in yourself. Trusting your mind, heart and gut, especially your instincts. Being true to who you are!

Balancing Act

How do you find that balance? 

For me it comes down to comfort along with confidence! I have to find comfort in what I do. To feel more grounded to center and create calm in my whole being. I have to find that balance and alignment to boost my confidence. To be more aware and mindful.

Really think about relaxing and resting more! Connect with your inner being as well as your breathe throughout the day. What do you need to let be or even let go of to relax more or at least connect more to your breathing? It is okay to do nothing too – take a much deserved break, a cat nap, a good solid 8 hours of rest, etc. Your being needs R&R on a daily basis with all that doing and going!


Balancing . . . Bridging . . .

Checking In

Make the time to do a self check! What is working and what is not. What do you have control over to change. It creates the space you need to stay right where you are at or how to move forward!

What is your whole being really telling you?

Presence

How do you create presence?

  • How you conduct and carry yourself.
  • How you physically show up in your world.
  • How you share you with yourself and others.

Think about your head/body positioning too! Are you looking straight ahead or down? When you are head up and looking forward you are more aware as well as confident! Remember to engage your heart too.


Hello There!

Connection

What is happening to you as well as what is going on around you?

  • That connection to your energies.
  • That connection to your power for strength.
  • That connection to control for empowerment.

Think about how you connect through interaction and engagement! Changing and transitioning as well as growing and transforming. Taking the time to tune into your emotions, feelings and thoughts. All and whole being – mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically!

Manifesting Growth Experiences

For Your Whole Being

How Do You Manifest Growth?

  • In learning, experiencing growth and gaining life experiences.
  • In being curious to explore and adventure.
  • In laughing, playing and having fun.
  • In being open to the possibilities and opportunities.
  • In giving to yourself, especially your needs.


Fruition . . .

Do you factor in the thrill or the fear in your experiences? Depends on the experience, right! Being fearful is okay, especially when you try new things or even take risks. It is part of the experience process!

However, letting fear control, deter and make decisions for you is not the best end result when it comes to the experience. The self doubt and the high expectations. The telling yourself it will never work and tapping into those old, bad habits again. It is okay to feel fearful when experiencing, but do not let fear just stop you in your tracks and stop you from doing!

Take a step back to determine as well as acknowledge what is standing in your way (i.e. fear, guilt, etc.)! Announce to yourself what it is and then release and let it go. It is okay to tune into your emotions, feelings and thoughts. Really look at what you are gaining and/or losing if you stand in your way! 


Boldness . . .

Think about the pure exhilaration and joy instead of letting fear take a front seat when you are experiencing! You may try that experience once and move on. You may try that experience again and again. Think about that you tried it and did it and maybe even liked it!

Give yourself the gift in being open to the possibilities and opportunities that come into your life! It can be refreshing and re-energizing to your whole being. It can be freeing too. Have fun with it! 

You are more than capable!

  • Own your value and worth.
  • Belief and trust in yourself.
  • Use that attitude to power you in what you want.
  • Use your energy to be inspired, motivated and drive.
  • Discover your loves, passions and desires.
  • Be grateful, appreciative and thankful.

Be the best person you can be by growing, experiencing and changing for the better! Take that first step and do not worry if it is a baby step, a giant leap or somewhere in between. Take action by doing it for you. That going for it, doing it is the greatest accomplishment you can gift to yourself! It provides you the motivation to go for it and do it again and again and again!

Journey of Self

Your Story

How are you self discovering who you truly are?

It is funny when you think you have it figured out and then it changes up on you!

How do you handle it?

  • Do you hold on or let go, especially if it is no longer serving you.
  • Do you weigh the pros and the cons.
  • Do you find the calm in the chaos to help you move forward.
  • Do you confront whatever it is in order to heal and love your whole being.
  • Do you embrace it to learn, develop and grow.

What are you creating in your life? What are you inviting into your life?

  • Loving
  • Healing
  • Inspiring
  • Creating
  • Being
  • Etc., etc., etc.!!!

Really discovering our strong to be warriors! Owning your power, control and energies. Being open to the opportunities as well as taking risks. Being brave to live the life you need, want and desire. Truly loving you for you and who you are!

By living the good life in being true to who you are! An honest and deeper relationship with yourself. A genuine and abundant way to live life!

Of Your Self

Think about how you bare your soul and essence of your whole being to yourself!

From exploring the world through your child eyes to figuring out where you fit in as a teenager to discovering who you are in your 20’s.

Are you in a discovery phase? Who Am I? How Do I Tick? Have you started on your journey of self?

Where do you see yourself in this big world!

Saying Yes! To Love

Remember to take 5 minutes to 30 minutes to an hour and just be, especially with yourself! Self love and self care and compassion. Communicating and interacting. Engaging and connecting. Healthiness and happiness. 

  • Do a self check to determine your needs. Are your needs connecting to your “whys”?
  • Do make time for yourself and your whole, well being. What do you want to do?
  • Do more of what you love to do.
  • Do get curious to explore and adventure. Add in some play time.
  • Do have fun learning by trying new things.

Find what makes you joyful, gives you pleasure and makes you the happiest! 

Saying Yes! To Nurturing & Nourishing

How do you nurture and nourish your whole being?

  • Relaxing and resting.
  • Being present and mindful.
  • Finding your form of meditation.

Being present and sharing that presence of self can be powerful and intense to yourself as well as others!  You are connecting at a deeper level. It is refreshing and re-energizing. It is freeing and liberating!

Saying Yes! To Who You Are

How do you do for your whole, well being?

  • Building a solid foundation to live from.
  • Developing your coping toolkit. To heal, release and let go of what is not in your best interest.
  • Creating the space and boundaries that you need. Mentally and emotionally as well as physically and spiritually.
  • Being yourself and true to who you are. To really be your own person and stand on your own.
  • Tuning into your beliefs and what you value. To experience growth to transform.
  • Rooting yourself through your beliefs and to trust in yourself.

What truly matters the most to you! You can be authentic and show vulnerability and have humility. That is the essence of being human! 

Say Yes! To Community

Have you found your small tribe? Where you can be you?

  • To inspire and motivate.
  • To communicate and connect.
  • To guide and support.

Inspire and move yourself and others by what you are doing! You and your stories. Your creations and experiences. Your passions and loves. Your talents and gifts. 

  • To share learning lessons, experiences and life in general.
  • To cope and heal.

To shift and change by learning and developing! Gaining those life experiences and make lasting memories. To transition and transform through experiencing growth!

Say Yes! To Intuition

How do you tune and tap into your intuitive self?

  • Finding your voice to express yourself.
  • Accepting who you are.
  • Embracing your talents and gifts.
  • Listening to yourself as well as giving that gift of listening to others.
  • Trusting your gut.
  • Coming from a place of love by following your heart.
  • Letting your inner child out to explore and play.

Do you love you for you! What drives you. What do you want to give your energy to. What part of you needs you to pay attention and listen to it, especially what it needs and its “whys”!

Being Your BFF

Your Journey of Self

Your journey of self is your very own personal story of creation! Who you are and what you create. How you journey and what you experience. To love you for you and to be your own BFF through thick and thin and everything in between!

  • Finding your self and discovering who you are.
  • Discovering the love, care and compassion that you have for yourself and your whole, well being.
  • Owning your worth by honoring and valuing yourself.
  • Staying true to who you are by believing and trusting in yourself.
  • Tuning and tapping into your inner self, especially your emotions, feelings and thoughts.

We can be our worst critic if not enemy at times. How do you protect yourself from doing that to yourself? Really think about how you can down low your inner critic to empower your inner voice! You can receive clarity and validity through your inner voice, especially to express yourself in what you need and why.

  • Knowing it is okay to have doubts and fears, especially in going after what you need, want, crave, desire, etc.
  • Practicing to progress, develop and experience growth.
  • Finding you and who you are through the practicing and experiencing.
  • Coming from a place of love in following your heart in what you are passionate about and what you love to do.

Then there are other times where we have people being hurtful to us. How do you tune into you and tap into your needs in those situations? How you value yourself helps you and others treat you how you want to be treated. It truly comes from within you!

Ask yourself . . .

  • What is true and what is not? Reality versus perception.
  • What do I have control over and what can I not control?
  • What am I going to respond/react to and what am I not going to respond/react to?
  • What are my choices?

There is a fine line between addressing and being aware of what is hurting you instead of finding fault and criticizing yourself. Really get to the heart of the “whats” by asking those “whys” in what you truly need. 

Probably the hardest part is understanding your emotions, feelings and thoughts. There usually is a reason behind our emotions and you have to take the time to ask why. It matters to address it head on in order to move on. Especially in being able to release and let go. Especially to be open to experiences. Especially to do what works best and serves you in your personal growth and journey of self. Your whole being and your energy will thank you for that!

Your happiness and healthiness matters! To become a better version of yourself. To find your inner voice in being able to communicate and connect with yourself on a deeper level. To listening to your whole being from the inside out!

Practicing Healthiness & Happiness

At A Personal Level

Do you practice what really works or serves your whole, well being for the better?

Be selective when it comes to opening yourself up and inviting in the possibilities and opportunities! What are the pros and cons. What speaks to your heart and soul. What sparks interest and inspiration as well as motivation and creativity for you! 

Really make it your own! When you do that you are more likely to stick to it. Be choosy when it comes to additions because when you start piling more on it can become less fun and more like a chore. It takes time to build and to have patience in discovering what works best for you and serves your needs!

 

What are you practicing?

In practicing my health and happiness I approach it like I am putting together a puzzle. You just have to figure out where to place the pieces. For example, there may be a piece to start every day new and fresh. Then there is another piece to end the day by taking 30 minutes for yourself. You continue to build one piece at a time to create a personal practice for yourself! 

Finding that healthy and happy place! That place that you take time out to make time for yourself. That place of comfort and healing. That place you can release and let go. That place where you can just be!

Are you creating a personal practice out of that practicing?

A major part of arriving at a final destination is the journey to get there! A major part of creating a personal practice to live from is enjoying the process. A great place to start your personal practice is determining your loves and your passions. What truly brings you joy, pleasure and happiness!

You will be more likely to continue your personal practice too! Over time you will become adept in making additions and eliminations. Really take the time for yourself to nurture and nourish that practice. Remember to do what works best for you and your whole, well being.

  • Are you serving your best interests?

You need to know the “whys” when it comes to what you need and want as well as crave and desire! Being mindful and fully aware. Tuning into your senses. You also need to know how to release and let go of what is no longer serving your best interests! 

  • Are you stunting your growth in any way?

You matter and are important! If you are willing and open, you are more than capable. You have to open yourself up to the possibilities and opportunities!

  • Are you sticking to your rules when it comes to acting?

Sometimes your mind rules your actions! You may have to throw out the rule book. You may need to let your heart in to play more! 

  • Are you proactive or reactive?

You need to make the time to connect with your whole being! Find that quiet space to center and connect. Reflect and release. Discover the movement and flow to your whole being again! 


Being . . . Creating . . . Living . . .

Your Dimension

You are more than one dimension! You have breadth by learning, developing and growing. You have depth through your experiences. All of what you experience enhances and expands you and your world!

A major part of adding dimension is through building a relationship with yourself!

  • Believing and trusting in yourself.
  • Knowing how you want to be treated to value yourself and your worth.
  • Nurturing and nourishing yourself and your whole being.
  • Answering those “whys” to ask for what you need.
  • Well being through self being; love, kindness, care, compassion, etc.

Your Journey

Remember you are the author in creating your story! You are the navigator in your journey!

It is about learning from the past and being in the present! What do you need? Are you being true to who you are? Be an active participant and show up for you in living your life!
