My Wine Regions Experience
I have been exploring the wine regions of California over the past 5 years. When I started this journey of exploration into California wine country I had no plan and no idea that I would fall head over heels in love with wine! My love for wine tasting has evolved to attending wine events and joing a few wine clubs. It is ADDICTIVE!!!

- Sierra Foothills
- Mendocino
- Santa Barbara
- Temecula
- Paso Robles
- Lake County
In my opinion on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, this is how I have scored the following wine regions.
8 to 10 Range Mendocino, Sierra Foothills, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, Sonoma
5 to 7 Range (more exploration needed) Lake County Napa Valley, Lodi
4 Range (maybe try a different season and revisit) Temecula

I lived in the Columbia Valley for awhile. I really enjoyed being near so many great wineries. I also really enjoyed Rioja, Spain. Central Otago, New Zealand has great Pinot Noir.
