Manifesting Empowerment

Questioning Yourself Each & Every Day

I have been thinking about performing lately. Your motivation and drive. Your energy and ambition. Your power and control. Do you really put different parts of yourself into action?

  • For seeking approval.
  • For meeting expectations.
  • For finding purpose.
  • For determining choices.
  • For proving and pleasing and ensuring “abc” and “xyz”.

Do you perform for you? or Do you look to receive it from other people?

Really think about what you are giving and receiving to yourself. Do you know your “whys” in what you need and want as well as crave and desire. Are you doing what you want, especially in what works best for you. Make that time to communicate and connect with your whole being!

Start making time to do self checks to determine your needs and if those needs are being met or not! Start asking yourself questions and seek the answers that work best for you. You may find yourself saying “No!” to let in a “Yes!” to what you need! 

Top Questions to Ask Yourself

  1. Your Greatest Someones – Who makes you feel loved and supported? Who do you want to spend quality time with to form a deeper connection with?
  2. Play Time – Are you doing what you love? Are you making time for yourself?
  3. Prospects – How do you want to save and spend your hard earned monies?
  4. Work – Are you passionate? Does it inspire, motivate and drive you?
  5. Community – Do you have that sense of belonging? Do you want to get out to explore and adventure?

The best gift you can give yourself is being true to who you are! Believing and valuing you. Supporting and trusting you. Respecting you by setting boundaries and creating your personal space. Knowing your passions and loves as well as your talents and gifts. You are your biggest love, friend and cheerleader in living your life!

BEing

BE Curious

Get curious and explore! Let your creative side loose. Let your inner kid come out to play, laugh and have fun. Be and do what makes you happy and makes your whole being feel good!

Here’s another thought on being curious . . . do you tune and tap into what you are EXPERIENCING in your curiosity! 

What are you experiencing?

  • It it a teaching lesson.
  • It is a growth experience.
  • Do you just need to be with yourself for that moment.
  • Does it require no action and doing nothing in that moment.
  • Does it require you to act and take action.
  • Are you in a place of awareness.

It takes you and the experience to another level in connecting and engaging! Pause to soak it in. Center to focus in. Check in your whole being to experience!

Think about discovery and the possibilities waiting out there for you to grab!

BE Open

Are you on auto pilot or manual? Practice listening instead of speaking and/or doing. Tune in versus out. Be alert and open. Be awake and aware. What is at least one thing you can take away or learn today?

  • To be open and put yourself out there to learn, grow and experience.
  • To be the best version of yourself and to do that through self love, care, kindness, and compassion.
  • To be flexible in exploring and discovering as well as growing and experiencing.

Think about movement! To give you clarity and calmness. To give you balance and stability. To wander and ponder. It helps you work through things, figure out solutions and just keep moving!

To Just BE

  • To be mindful and present.
  • To be your time keeper in how and what you spend your time and energy on.

Think about being completely present in what you are doing right at that moment! Make the time to focus on the task at hand. To be fully engaged and connected. It is so worth it!

BE the Stretch

How can you stretch your comfort zone? It truly starts from within in how you feel. That inquiry in asking yourself what you need and why!

  • Finding the meaning and what matters in your why.
  • Awakening and growing . . .
  • Opening yourself up to the possibilities.
  • Discovering and experiencing . . .
  • Putting your focus and energy on what you truly need.
  • Empowering and emerging . . .

Think about quality versus quantity when it comes to your being, health and wellness and life in general!

BE the Moment

What are those moments that made you proud that you went for it and did it?

  • Those moments that are exciting and freeing at the same time.
  • Those moments that make you satisfied and fulfilled.
  • Those moments where your whole being is in play; mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually! 

 That is authentic and abundance all rolled into one whole package! To be strong in your whys and empowered to meet your needs. To reach your full potential by knowing who you are and what works best for you.  That self reflection, that self inquiry, that self check . .

Let It Be

“Words of Wisdom”

I recently read an article about letting things be! I know I have discussed releasing and letting go on my blog. However, this got me thinking. There is a difference when it comes to “letting go” versus “letting be”! 

  • Letting be versus fixing.
  • Loosening versus eliminating.
  • Easing versus “over” . . .
  • Simplifying versus complicating.

In letting things be you create space to respond and/or react to what is happening to you. Also, to what is going on around you. To actively listen in order to connect to yourself in how you receive and respond to yourself as well as others.

  • Do you have control?
  • Do you have a choice?

At the heart of it though is creating that space you need for you!

Think about tuning into your comfort levels too!

  • To love you for you through kindness, care and compassion.
  • To let yourself be who you are.
  • To be and do for you.
  • To take time to relax and rest.
  • To make time for you and your needs.

Manifesting Strength

Physically and Mentally

Do you believe in the correlation between your physical strength and your mental strength?

I do! I find that tapping into my physical strength means tuning into my mental strength. Also, tuning into my emotions, feelings and thoughts. I communicate and connect better to myself as well as at times to others too!

Then there is that realization of what your body can truly do when you put your mind to it too! Through your overall strength you find confidence and comfort. Safety and security. You may surprise yourself by taking a “I cannot do this.” to “I CAN do this!”.

Through your practicing you find your flexibility and adaptability.

  • You may find joy and pleasure in discovering what you like to do.
  • You may find a playfulness to have fun doing what you like to do.
  • You may find inspiration in looking forward to something and motivation in what excites you.
  • You may find passion and creativeness in tapping into your potential, talents and gifts.

Through your abilities you find your determination and drive! You may even fall in love with your whole body too. You are changing and transforming for the better!

When you appreciate what your body can do you start to enjoy the practice. You take an interest and challenge yourself. You stretch yourself to try a little harder. You may even try new things to see what you like to do!

My Word for 2018

Health

I am making a healthier and happier me a priority in 2018! Continuing to discover my strong. Continuing to be thankful in what my whole being does for me, especially when I take care of myself.

Love, Care, Kindness, Compassion . . .

Miss Katie over at Healthy Diva Life gives me clarity and light bulb moments with her posts. Thank you! I love when women love and support as well as inspire and empower the women around them.

My recent light bulb moment stems from being in a crossroads right now in living my life. Am I on the right track? What sign or direction am I looking for to get me moving forward again? Here is the light bulb going off – I have been changing my lifestyle, but my mindset got left behind! 

Being Real, Taking Risks and Having No REGRETS!!!

I am changing that in 2018 for myself! I recently wrote a post called 4 Buckets and there was my sign and a sense of direction for myself. It truly resonated with me at that moment! However, I need to take it to the next level for myself and my whole, well being.

I have two major goals in mind for 2018.

  1. Create more ease.
  2. Make time to find my happy.

FULLfilling . . .

It may not be easy and it may come with its share of hard work, but so worth it! Doing what is best for you and what serves your needs. Communicating, interacting, connecting, and engaging your mind, heart and whole being in pretty much everything you do. Be true to who you are and trust what you know to be true!

When your heart, mind and being are in tune it creates the space you need to go after what you need! The dreams turn into goals. The coming from love versus fear in following your heart’s desires. The believing and trusting that you are right where you need to be! 

To just focus on one thing at a time or even just doing nothing at all! To be mindful as well as in the present moment. To bring about awareness, especially of self. Everything happens in due time and being patient and trusting the process is key!

Manifesting Purpose

Where Are You Going?

Do you feel like you are on auto pilot at times? Going through the motions to get the work done. Do you find it is a balancing act at times? Home, work, work, home, etc.

How do you manifest your purpose?

Practicing

Do you practice fulfilling or focus in on what is lacking?  Is there alignment or a disconnect? Can that disconnect be adjusted for better alignment. If not, it may be time to release, let go and/or move on. You have to do a self check from time to time to see if the work you are doing aligns with what is best and what matters to you!

One Step At A Time

Do you take baby steps or just jump in with both feet? Is it something you know you really want. Is it something with risk involved. Depends, right!

You have to know your “whys” in order to create, do, take action, etc.! Think about what inspires and motivates you. Do you know your loves and passions. Knowing that your doing what you can is a great first step to getting what you need! 

That is empowering and keeps you in charge of the controls! That gives you meaning and demonstrates what matters to you. That provides you with purpose in knowing that you are doing and working hard when it comes to what you need to live a fulfilling life. You are creating and journeying along!

Goodness

  • How do you give and receive?
  • How do you celebrate and reward?

There is no better mood booster then that feeling you get when goodness happens! Truly serving and doing with the kindness of your heart. Deepening those relationships that you are building by delving a little deeper in how you communicate and interact as well as engage and connect. That sense of love and support. That sense of belonging and sharing. That provides satisfaction, healthiness, fulfillment, and happiness! 

That brings depth and interest and gaining of experiences too! Reminding yourself to make time for you, especially to relax and rest. To do more of what you love to do and/or something you want to do for a change of pace. To take joy in enjoying yourself in everything you do!

A Heart to Heart

Get Out Of My Head

Do you get stuck in your head? Thinking, processing, thinking some more . . .

I do! I tend to get stuck in my head every once in a while. When I do I find whatever I am doing less enjoyable!

Sync & Synergy

How do you sync your mind and heart to create synergy? 

Thinking with your mind while leading with your heart. To lead more with your heart instead of being in your head.


Heart to Heart

I find that it comes more natural when I believe and trust in myself! Tuning into the intuition and tapping into those gut instincts. Especially when something is new that you have never done before.

Think about how you listen to your body! Valuing and believing in yourself. Trusting your mind, heart and gut, especially your instincts. Being true to who you are!

Balancing Act

How do you find that balance? 

For me it comes down to comfort along with confidence! I have to find comfort in what I do. To feel more grounded to center and create calm in my whole being. I have to find that balance and alignment to boost my confidence. To be more aware and mindful.

Really think about relaxing and resting more! Connect with your inner being as well as your breathe throughout the day. What do you need to let be or even let go of to relax more or at least connect more to your breathing? It is okay to do nothing too – take a much deserved break, a cat nap, a good solid 8 hours of rest, etc. Your being needs R&R on a daily basis with all that doing and going!


Balancing . . . Bridging . . .

Checking In

Make the time to do a self check! What is working and what is not. What do you have control over to change. It creates the space you need to stay right where you are at or how to move forward!

How do you create presence?

  • How you conduct and carry yourself.
  • How you physically show up in your world.
  • How you share you with yourself and others.

Think about your head/body positioning too! Are you looking straight ahead or down? When you are head up and looking forward you are more aware as well as confident! Remember to engage your heart too.

Connection

What is happening to you as well as what is going on around you?

  • That connection to your energies.
  • That connection to your power for strength.
  • That connection to control for empowerment.

Think about how you connect through interaction and engagement! Changing and transitioning as well as growing and transforming. Taking the time to tune into your emotions, feelings and thoughts. All and whole being – mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically!

Manifesting Growth Experiences

For Your Whole Being

How Do You Manifest Growth?

  • In learning, experiencing growth and gaining life experiences.
  • In being curious to explore and adventure.
  • In laughing, playing and having fun.
  • In being open to the possibilities and opportunities.
  • In giving to yourself, especially your needs.


Fruition . . .

Do you factor in the thrill or the fear in your experiences? Depends on the experience, right! Being fearful is okay, especially when you try new things or even take risks. It is part of the experience process!

However, letting fear control, deter and make decisions for you is not the best end result when it comes to the experience. The self doubt and the high expectations. The telling yourself it will never work and tapping into those old, bad habits again. It is okay to feel fearful when experiencing, but do not let fear just stop you in your tracks and stop you from doing!

Take a step back to determine as well as acknowledge what is standing in your way (i.e. fear, guilt, etc.)! Announce to yourself what it is and then release and let it go. It is okay to tune into your emotions, feelings and thoughts. Really look at what you are gaining and/or losing if you stand in your way! 


Boldness . . .

Think about the pure exhilaration and joy instead of letting fear take a front seat when you are experiencing! You may try that experience once and move on. You may try that experience again and again. Think about that you tried it and did it and maybe even liked it!

Give yourself the gift in being open to the possibilities and opportunities that come into your life! It can be refreshing and re-energizing to your whole being. It can be freeing too. Have fun with it! 

You are more than capable!

  • Own your value and worth.
  • Belief and trust in yourself.
  • Use that attitude to power you in what you want.
  • Use your energy to be inspired, motivated and drive.
  • Discover your loves, passions and desires.
  • Be grateful, appreciative and thankful.

Be the best person you can be by growing, experiencing and changing for the better! Take that first step and do not worry if it is a baby step, a giant leap or somewhere in between. Take action by doing it for you. That going for it, doing it is the greatest accomplishment you can gift to yourself! It provides you the motivation to go for it and do it again and again and again!

My Top 7 2017 Reflections

Life Lessons and Experiences

Have your reflected on your journeys in 2017?

The life lessons and the experiences.

What did you learn? What did you experience?

The explorations and adventures. The people you met. The food and drink. The travels. The experiences and memories you made.

#1 – Be Kind

Think about a mirror and how you share yourself with others! Kindness and thankfulness. Appreciation and respect. Gratitude and celebration. Your actions matter in how you treat yourself as well as others! 

Really defining what truly matters! The gifts and talents. The possibilities and opportunities.

My Take Away: Patience. 

#2 – Being True to Who You Are – Your True Essence

Do what is best for you and what serves your needs too! Build up your self confidence and self independence. Communicate and connect with your inner being. Engage your inner voice and interact with your heart, mind and whole being. Be true to who you are and trust what you know to be true!

When your heart, mind and being are in tune it creates the space you need to go after what you need! The dreams turn into goals. The coming from love versus fear in following your heart’s desires! The listening to communicate, interact, engage, and connect. The believing and trusting that you are right where you need to be! 

My Take Away: Trust the Process!

#3 – Magic is to Be Believed

Magic is what you make it! What do you believe? It really makes you pause to reflect on what truly matters! 

  • Hopes and wishes.
  • Dreams and desires.
  • Adventures and creativeness.
  • Surprises and celebrations.
  • Silliness and fun.

My Take Away: Live as only YOU can!

#4 – Wholeness and Wellness of Your Being

Instead of thinking how your being and body is not, really think what it does do for you! Loving you, your body and your whole, well being. It may not be easy and it may come with its share of hard work, but you are so worth it! Kindness and acceptance. Appreciation and gratitude. Be thankful, be proud and be strong!

My Take Away: Love of Self!

#5 – Sharing You

There is a way to share yourself with others in being real with who you are! You can be personal without being TMI. It can be relatable and truth telling. It can be empowering, especially in how you treat yourself! 

My Take Away – Simple – Share You and Your Life With You as well as Others, especially Your Greatest Someones!

#6 – Presence

Think about doing just one thing at a time or even just doing nothing! Be mindful and in the present moment. Bring about awareness, especially of self. Ask yourself, “What can be?” and “What can go?”.

  • It is okay to not know what is next and soak in the now.
  • It is okay to lock on to what you need and go for it.
  • It is okay to value yourself by honoring who you are and what you need.
  • It is okay to be open to learn, grow and experience. Get curious to explore and adventure.
  • It is okay to not be and do all. Make the time for yourself, stop rushing and trust the timing.

My Take Away: Be PRESENT – everything happens in due time! In your life as well as the lives of others, especially your greatest someones.

#7 – LESS is More

Life is a puzzle! However, you are not handed a box with all the pieces. You have to journey to add the pieces as you go along! The seeing of the bigger picture to the details and everything in between.

What are your blessings? What are you grateful for? What does abundance truly mean to you? Sharing creates experience and expansion upon abundance!
