Practicing a strength daily is a great practice to instill for your whole being!

  • Turn weaknesses into strengths.
  • Reduce overall stresses.
  • Become a better version of you.
  • Tune into and tap into your full potential better.
  • Control and take charge of your power and energy.
  • See the good and the positive more.


Practicing . . .

In practicing you can focus in on what you are looking forward to and/or what you are grateful for!

  • It helps increase mood and overall happiness.
  • It boosts self confidence and self esteem.
  • It elevates kindness and reduces stresses.
  • It improves communication and connection with yourself and others.
  • It increases optimism and decreases pessimism.
  • It gives a sense of engagement from within to radiate out.

Focus on your signature strengths and build additional signature strengths as you practice and grow!

Do you know your signature strengths? What do you do well? Skills and abilities as well as gifts and talents.

Do you know your weaknesses that you want to turn into signature strengths? What skills and behaviors do you need to work on and improve?

I am all for “Discovering My Strong” each and every day!

I am not “ON” and certainly do not see the good and the positive each and every day! However, I can set my day to have as good of a day as possible! I am able to clear my mind and shift perspective. I am able to shift gears and increase or decrease my energies.

Remind yourself of your strengths! What can you learn? How can you grow? Remember to focus on what you can learn to experience personal growth!

I recently read an article about personal strengths that went into specifics on the how and the why we need to start using them more!

  • Helps You Stay Resilient When the Going Gets Tough.

Did you know there were 24 strengths? I did not know that. Character strengths are our capacity for thinking, feeling, willing, and behaving. Basically reflect what is BEST in each of us! Those strengths are part of how we positively identify ourselves.

Wisdom & Knowledge Strengths are #1 – #5

Justice Strengths are #6 – #8

Courage Strengths are #9 – #12

Temperance Strengths are #13 – #16

Humanity Strengths are #17 – #19

Transcendence Strengths are #20 – #24

Each one of us has ALL 24 strengths, however; we each use those strengths differently! Your top strengths are called “signature strengths”. Those strengths that are most essential to who you are!


Using Different Strengths and Skills

3 Questions To Ask Yourself:

  1. Do you know your top strengths?
  2. How do you apply and use your strengths?
  3. How do you make the most out of your strengths?

By using and developing your strengths you are a happier and healthier being! In using your strengths you are physically and mentally experiencing the world you live in. In developing your strengths you are practicing and progressing in how to make the most out of your strengths. You are giving your whole being a boost as well as being productive, independent and competent!

The Most Prevalent Strengths In Humans Are:

  1. Kindness
  2. Fairness
  3. Judgment
  4. Honesty
  5. Gratitude

I love the juxtaposing of the five strengths! Kindness to Judgment. Fairness to Honesty. Then there is Gratitude.

The Least Common Strengths In Humans Are:

  1. Prudence
  2. Modesty
  3. Self-Regulation

What is Prudence? The quality of being prudent and/or cautious. Wisdom. Good judgment. Common sense.

What is Modesty? The quality or state of being unassuming or moderate in the estimation of one’s abilities. The quality of being relatively moderate, limited or small in amount, rate or level. Behavior, manner or appearance intended to avoid impropriety or indecency.

What is Self-Regulation? Control by oneself. A learning process to develop a set of constructive behaviors that affect one’s learning. The ability to learn, adapt and change.

I was thinking and pondering . . . Are we born with these strengths? Yes or No or Depends. Are these strengths something we are taught and continue to learn as we develop? Yes or No.


Building Strengths and Skills

The Top 5 Strengths That Are Most Connected With Happiness Are:

  1. Curiosity
  2. Zest
  3. Hope
  4. Gratitude
  5. L-O-V-E
Think about the relationship between your heart and your head! Do you use your heart or your head? Think about practicing gratitude in living your life! It is about the whole being; mentally, emotionally, physically, and spirituality. Think about your emotions, feelings and thoughts of wellness and happiness when using your strengths!

Remember to make the most out of your strengths today! Your strengths are daily inspiration and motivation to your whole being. Your whole being will thank you for the GOOD and the POSITIVE in being HEALTHIER and HAPPIER!

Discovering Your STRONG

Seeing Your True Self in Your Strengths,

Have you discovered your STRONG, your strengths (inner)? It is about exploring your inner strengths and finding your true self. It is the power inside you that pushes you into action! This power assists you with your self-confidence, self-control and self-awareness. In strengthening this power from the inside out it can and will make you a STRONGER being in living the life you want!

Developing your inner strengths and discovering your STRONG is a process and a process that is possible! The most important part of the process is finding your true self by listening to your inner voice. In listening to your inner voice you can develop your inner strengths and make changes as needed. You are enhancing your life skills coping tool kit throughout this process too!

I love a challenge, so bring it on! I am enjoying the journey of self too! I have had some interesting discoveries as well as some eye opening experiences throughout the process. I am rediscovering myself and unveiling a better version of me.


Baby Steps . . .

Learning & Experiencing

The hardest learning lessons so far have been trust and gratitude! I am learning less attitude and more gratitude! I am learning to trust myself and listen to myself once again. This is a work in progress every day!

I am finding a new kind of assertiveness! I am discovering a calmness and collectedness I never knew I even had living inside of me. I am slowing down, but finding a new speed when it comes to my motivation and drive and my ambitions and passions! I am slowly shedding some habits and shaking up that creature of habit too. I am getting out of my own way and checking my thoughts, feelings and emotions!

Non-Comparisons

Do not compare yourself to someone else or other people in general?

You are unique with your own set of talents, gifts and experiences! You are who you are and that deserves love and appreciation from you. Really let your true self shine and share it with yourself and others! You need to rely on yourself as well as having those people in your life that can guide, support, protect, and mentor you. You have the ability to change and shape yourself into a better version of you!

Great Appreciation

Appreciate yourself and your talents! You make the GOOD happen in your life. Change your appreciation on WHAT you can do and NOT on what you cannot do! You will become a magnet of attraction for the good things in your life.

You are the one that adds value to your talents! You are the one that must accept your shortcomings, setbacks and struggles. However, you are the one that can CHANGE and turn them into VALUE! You are the one that brings out your POSITIVE Sense of Self.
