In the Park
For me usually ends up with watching the birds while I get my stroll on.
Someone decided to add some comfier chairs.
The ducks were pretty much resting, except the one in the middle.
This Anhinga was out sunning itself.

I love exploring gardens! The fauna and the flora. The water features. The places to sit back and relax!
This parrot spoke one note that sounded like a small child calling mom, mom, mom . . .
This parrot was silent until I was near and then starting talking a stream of words.

What speaks to you when it comes to your health and wellness?
My Top 3
You can bring nature inside or head out into the Great Outdoors! The fauna and flora. The green spaces to the mountains to the sandy beaches to everything in between. The fresh air!
There is just something about natural light that brightens your whole, well being! The sunlight. The warmth. The brain gets a boost and the mood gets a lift!
Do you ever stop and just take in all the colors of the fruits and veggies available? The freshness and ripeness of the fruits and veggies in season. Wandering through an orchard or a pick your own garden. The creativity and experimentation that comes from trying, preparing, cooking, and tasting fruits and veggies!
Think About . . .
When was the last time you went on an adventure? To escape, wander and get lost. To get curious and explore. To release your inner kid and play, laugh and have fun!
Experiencing growth and gaining life experiences! Tuning into your creative being and tapping into your potential, talents and gifts. Learning about your interests and developing hobbies. Making those moments that you savor and cherish as life long memories!
Think About . . .

Do You Take The Time To Recharge Your Batteries?
I feel better and at my best when I take the time to relax and recharge! I feel like I accomplish more in a shorter period because I am not running on fumes. I feel more clear headed when well rested. I actually feel like I have the energy to get out there and get it done!

I am learning that part of self-acceptance is letting GO of self-control! I know I feel better when I am in control, however; sometimes that control can do more harm than good, especially to your body, mind and spirit. Learn to Stop, Pause and Take a Breathe at times!
Love this! “Giving up control is sometimes the only way to gain self-control”. Hard Lesson to Learn at times!
I am learning that part of self-control is learning the art of relaxation! Your body and mind have that push-pull thing going on with each other at times. Sometimes your brain just takes over. Stop That Already!
Start Relaxing NOW!
I am learning that part of self-acceptance as well as self-control is trusting your instinicts and five senses. I am hoping by tuning into my instinicts and 5 senses it will improve my body (health), my mind (productivity) and my spirit (happiness)! Self-control as well as willpower are a mind-body response, so instead of reacting and protecting learn to trust yourself through your instinicts and senses.
Like the saying goes trust your gut!
I am finding that feeding into the guilt and shame is just a destructive behavior and habit to have in your life. I would rather spend my energies focusing on being mindful and grateful in my life. I am also finding that being able to forgive yourself is a BONUS when it comes to self-acceptance as well as self-control. Give yourself a break and show yourself a little compassion when you experience a setback, which sometimes you have no control over anyway!
Stress, Anxiety, Temptation – Oh My!
Do I need to say anymore on this and what it does to your body, mind and spirit? I eat junk, cannot sleep, and certainly have a hard time shutting the brain off. I am just a mess having a meltdown, along with a pity party and playing the blame game! Instead I should be picking myself up and be focusing on nutrition, exercise and 8 hours of peaceful rest. Easier said than done at times!

Have you ever been wrapped up or in so deep that you just need to call a time out? Just take a break and have time to breathe. Why do we get bogged down in the day to day or the drama going on around us? Just take a break and reflect. What do we get out of being involved? Just take a break and evaluate the situation.

Somedays hitting the pause button sounds like the way to go! Too bad human beings are not equipped like electronics though. You could really mess with someone that is equipped with an on and off switch though – ha! Remember that you cannot be all things to all people.
I really feel that when we are caught up in this thing called LIFE you have to retain the genuine you and not keep changing who you are depending on the situation at hand. By doing this you are taking care of yourself; body, mind and spirit. We really need to be kinder to ourselves and at times get out of our own way. You start to become a more proactive instead of reactive person in situations and life in general.

You really learn your own way through this crazy thing called LIFE! It will suck you in if you let it! Really make learning a priority as well as focusing on your passions, beliefs and values. Who knows it may make the path your on a little easier to handle along the straight and narrow as well as the twists and turns as well as the curves and bumps!
