Natural Movement

What Are You Practicing?

I have been thinking about movement lately, especially forward movement. For instance, why do some movements seem so natural while others seem like you are continuously pushing a boulder up a very steep hill. You either keep pushing or have a boulder coming at you like Indiana Jones in that one movie. Your body and your body language speak volumes!

How and when do you stop pushing and just try and go with the flow? Especially when you are not the go with the flow type. Scheduled versus spontaneity. Learning to navigate or asking someone else for directions. Mind and body working together as one!

Moving . . .

You have choices, especially to choose what works best for you! Weighing the pros and the cons. To practice, learn and develop. To progress to experience growth and gain life experiences. To find your “whys” in what you need!

To learn more about who you are and how you work! To find your potential as well as your talents and gifts. To discover what matters most. To create and live!

“You have a way to unstick what’s stuck, unblock what’s blocked,
fix what needs fixing, and create what needs creating.
You just need to practice this way a bit, every day, to make it yours.
We’re at a crossroads today, each of us, and all together. It has something to do with what we practice.”~Michael Taylor

Bridging . . .

It matters in how you live your life! That true essence of self and being true to who you are. That love and support. That caring and receiving and giving. It matters in how you care for yourself and others, especially your greatest someones!

  • To find that inspiration and motivation that drives you.
  • To discover those loves and passions that give you ambition.
  • To be an active and productive being.
  • To achieve and be successful.
  • To be happy and healthy whole, well beings.
  • To living the simpler life.

I have learned that a good majority of things can be doable, changeable, fixable . . . Also, survivable! Creating and recreating. Changing and adapting. Transitioning and transforming. You are in charge to be who you are and to create (i.e. a life, happiness, health, etc.) and live for yourself!

The Daily Grind

Switching It Up

I will not mention her name, but she told me chores are more fun when you make a game out of it! I was still moldable at that young age. When I got into my teenage years cleaning was NO Risky Business with Mr. Tom Cruise either.

I do actively think about creating action, motion and movement though on a daily basis! Wandering, Walking, Stair Climbing . . . I enjoy a great song that makes me move and gets my toes a tapping. I love playing and having fun!

Wandering

I do love to get outside to explore nature and to adventure the Great Outdoors! I enjoy finding those green spaces and becoming one with nature, especially with a camera in my hands. I enjoy getting outside to work out, like walking, hiking and biking. Nothing more relaxing for me than to be outdoors where I can breathe and connect with my whole being!

GREEN

I do make an effort to move throughout my day while acting as a desk jockey at work! I park as far out as I can. I take the stairs throughout the day. I get up at least every hour to stretch and move; physically and mentally. I take the stairs throughout the day!

I do have to get away from technology on a daily basis, especially staring at a screen! I love reading a good book or writing a creative piece. I enjoy calling family and friends to have a chat. I enjoy going to the gym or getting outside for a change of pace!

In a way the Slinky is experiencing growth and gaining life experiences! I know just go with me on this. I promise there is a point. Here is the Point:  Your personal growth stops developing when you lose focus on WHERE YOU ARE and WHERE YOU COULD BE!

You are the one who sets your life in motion! You are the one who nutures yourself to experience growth. You are the one who stimulates your life to gain experiences. You are the ENERGY in your life; hopefully for the positive!

Here’s to Strength, Agility & Tackling LIFE Every Day!!!
