California Sea Lions
Monterey Bay Aquarium in California – World Class & A Must See!!! The entrance fees range from $19.95 to $29.95 (Children 3 or younger FREE). Check out the Aquarium’s Website for Hours of Operation and the Events Calendar. The World Oceans Day Celebration is coming up on June 4th & 5th.
The greatest thing about visiting an aquarium is that the animal life is usually in constant motion – usually not hiding out. We spent probably two to four hours at the aquarium on our visit. You can spend an hour, half a day, a day, or multiple days visiting the aquarium – whatever you desire.
The exhibit areas were educational as well as at times interactive. I could have spent hours just watching the penguins, sea otters & harbor seals. The aquarium did an awesome job setting up the Kelp Forest exhibit & being able to see a real octopus, especially a giant octopus – cool!
