Tapping Into Your Inner Energies

To Tune Out Fatigue and Brain Fog

There is nothing better than making time for yourself to practice self healing when your whole being is running on empty!

My Top 5

  • Stretching (i.e. neck rolls, shoulder shrugs, etc.).
  • Breathing.
  • Taking a break.
  • Having someone or something to look forward to.
  • Rewarding yourself.

Stretching and Breathing

For me the best energy booster to wake up my whole being is too stretch! It clears out the brain fog too, especially if I have been sitting too much and/or are on technology overload. I feel the blood flow circulating again. It is like a restart and a reboot all wrapped into one through stretching!

Remember to focus on your breath when stretching! Breath in . . . breath out . . . Inhale up . . . exhale down. Breathing through tension is key for release! Sometime being vocal helps too, like sighing, chanting, moaning, etc. Make sure you have a private space to be vocal though! 

A good majority of us carry the weight on our shoulders and the stress and tension in our necks! You have to practice releasing that in order to find calm and peace as well as to relax and rest.

Get the energy flowing again! Connect with your breath. Release and let go of the stress and tension. Really focus in on relaxing and healing your whole body!

Taking a Break

Remember to take breaks throughout the day! Everyone needs a chance to reset and reboot. Everyone deserves a breather; basically come up for some much needed air! 

What is your favorite way to take a much deserved break from the action?

Really tune into what your body needs, wants and craves and remember to give it not just think about it! Give yourself something to look forward to. Reward yourself in your achievements and accomplishments. Remember to celebrate YOU and your goals, milestones, learning lessons, successes, etc.!

It keeps you fresh and focused!

Looking Forward To . . .

Remember to give yourself someone or something to look forward to! It is inspiring and motivating. It helps you power through!

Really tap into your dreams and desires! It gives you something to think about that really moves you. It helps move you forward too. Especially in going after what you really want!

Think about what makes you light up! What makes you smile as well as just makes your day. What makes you want to play and have fun. What makes you laugh and feel like a kid again!

Do more of that (playing, laughing, having fun, etc.) and especially do more of what you LOVE! 

ALWAYS have someone or something to look forward to!

Rewarding Yourself

A very important reminder is to reward yourself! You can do something free or treat yourself a bit. When you do for you then give back to your whole being by making time to do something nice and kind for yourself!

I think back to grade school and waiting to see what sticker my teacher placed on my homework! It was motivating and up lifting. It was an expression of a job well done! 

You EARNED It & DESERVE It!

Peacefulness

Question for You Today!

Does peacefulness come from your state of mind or from your heart? Or Is it a combination of the two? 

In practicing to progress I have found myself tapping into my heart to heal instead of just tuning into my mind to clear it out! It was quite a wake up and peaked my curiosity. Are my decisions and choices decided by my mind or my heart? Will I act or react with my mind or my heart?

That play between perception and reality! How do I see things, especially from my mind’s point of view versus my heart’s point of view. Nothing is fixed and is in a constant state of flux, right!

That shift to opening my heart more, especially to myself and my whole being!

  • How to love . . .
  • How to communicate . . .
  • How to interact . . .
  • How to connect . . .
  • How to be . . .

To be loving and kind. To be appreciative and complimentary. To be caring and compassionate. To be grateful and thankful.

To communicate with your inner voice. To interact with your inner being. To connect with your inner guidance system.

To be mindful and present. To be a healthy and happy being. To be passionate and do what you love. To cherish our gifts and talents. 

To CRAVE this life we get to live each and every day!

How To Practice . . .

  • By breathing in and breathing out. Focusing on your breath to release and let go.
  • By taking it one step at a time and every once in a while just taking a big leap. Focusing on your sense of direction.
  • By being more mindful and present. Focusing on what is going on with you and around you.
  • By dreaming and visualizing peace and calm from the center of your being. Focusing in on what is filling your head. Focusing on filling your heart instead.
  • By being loving and kind to your whole being. Focusing on being gentle and keep practicing to progress.
  • By continuing to try. Pick yourself and start again. Focusing on the journey.

Following Your Breath

Breathing . . .

How do you release to let go?

Breathing helps me focus and center myself and my being! Being one with myself to think and reflect as well as pray and meditate.

There are times a good cleaning and clearing out are in order to reset and recharge you, your whole being and your life! Clear away the negativity and the emotional clutter. Why keep what is no longer serving or working for you? Put it to the curb and move on!

Being . . .

How do you do being present?

I never really knew that I was a mindful person! I certainly knew I did not want life to pass me by though!

The biggest gain with practicing mindfulness is focusing on what matters!

  • My physical being is active, more aware and using its senses.
  • My emotional being is working on healing itself and letting things go.
  • My mental being is engaged, my memory is kicking in and more open to learning and developing.

I can get out of auto pilot mode as well as just unplug! Being present, open and aware. Pausing, reflecting and most of all recharging. Finding that balance that works BEST!

Believing . . .

How do you energize Y-O-U?

  • Being active and moving throughout the day.
  • Working hard and playing harder.
  • Healthiness and happiness.
  • Doing what you love and by attracting what you need, want and crave in your life.
  • Conversing, interacting and connecting with myself and others.
  • Laughter.
  • Hoping, wishing and dreaming.
  • Looking for the possibilities and being open to the opportunities.
  • Abundance and prosperity.
  • Learning, growing, experiencing.
  • Being decisive and making good choices.
  • Love and kindness.

The above moves me, stimulates me and most of all energizes me!

Just Breathe

Open Your Heart

When you are feeling stressed out and on “over” everything remember to connect to your whole being from your feet to your head! Just breathe and communicate to your inner being. Just breathe and connect to you. Just breathe and focus on your heart to center!

 

“I am enough. I have enough.”

“I have all that I need. Come what may, I have all that I need.”

“I breathe in the light and love.”

“I breathe out to release and let go.”

Breathe in and count to 3.

Breathe out and count to 5.

Focus on a good, positive and happy memory. Hold on to it.

 

Breathing exercises are a good practice to start in becoming and being a healthier and happier being! Calm . . . Center . . .  Connect . . .

I know it helps me clear my mind and relieve the tension and stress! I can tune into my emotions, feelings and thoughts. I find my calm and centered self. I find the love, kindness, caring, and compassion that I need for me. I focus on the good and the positive and release and let go of the bad and the negative!

Breathe In . . . Breathe Out . . . Repeat . . .
