Manifesting Strength

Physically and Mentally

Do you believe in the correlation between your physical strength and your mental strength?

I do! I find that tapping into my physical strength means tuning into my mental strength. Also, tuning into my emotions, feelings and thoughts. I communicate and connect better to myself as well as at times to others too!

Then there is that realization of what your body can truly do when you put your mind to it too! Through your overall strength you find confidence and comfort. Safety and security. You may surprise yourself by taking a “I cannot do this.” to “I CAN do this!”.

Through your practicing you find your flexibility and adaptability.

  • You may find joy and pleasure in discovering what you like to do.
  • You may find a playfulness to have fun doing what you like to do.
  • You may find inspiration in looking forward to something and motivation in what excites you.
  • You may find passion and creativeness in tapping into your potential, talents and gifts.

Through your abilities you find your determination and drive! You may even fall in love with your whole body too. You are changing and transforming for the better!

When you appreciate what your body can do you start to enjoy the practice. You take an interest and challenge yourself. You stretch yourself to try a little harder. You may even try new things to see what you like to do!

One positive outcome from breaking my shoulder last May was weight lifting. It was part of my physical therapy. I continue to lift weights daily and have found the benefit of stronger arms plus stronger back muscles and flatter abs. And, yes, it feels good and exercise that doesn’t bore me.

This was the perfect things for me to read today. Work has been very stressful lately and it’s affected me mentally, which in turn, has left me feeling too tired to work out when I get home. But I need to. I know that burst of dopamine and energy from exercising will go a long way in my mental strength for these stressful days. Thanks!

Happy to Share 🙂 I totally understand wanting a nap versus exercise after a long, stressful work day. That exercise can help you sleep better too. Wishing you the BEST and TAKE CARE of YOU! Happy Day – Enjoy

From May 2015 - March 2016, Sherry and Sean traveled the country and lived in a 5th wheel R.V. They took pictures, hiked mountains, and saw amazing sights. They are now settled in Fort Myers, Florida and are continuing to take pictures and seeing amazing sights. This is the blog of their journey from leaving St. Louis and starting an adventure, to living in Florida and doing photography. Enjoy the stories, and leave comments if you have one to share!
