Watching the Birdies
Anhinga
This Anhinga was funny to watch doing its bird dancing!
Grebe
Love the circles these birds make in the water.
Heron
Gator
There is a balance between the birds and the alligators. A nesting bird in gator territory has built in security in the gators keeping away egg thieving bandits like raccoons and opossums.

I am not particularly fond of birds. I attribute that to barn swallows swooping at me in the barn as a child. I appreciate their beauty and songs. I just don’t want anything feathered too close to me.

No one wants a bird in the face or a bird sneak attack that is for sure because the bird usually wins! I enjoy watching the bird antics and from a distance with a zoom lens on my camera. Happy Day – Enjoy 🙂
