52 weeks captured through photos
From May 2015 - March 2016, Sherry and Sean traveled the country and lived in a 5th wheel R.V. They took pictures, hiked mountains, and saw amazing sights. They are now settled in Fort Myers, Florida and are continuing to take pictures and seeing amazing sights. This is the blog of their journey from leaving St. Louis and starting an adventure, to living in Florida and doing photography. Enjoy the stories, and leave comments if you have one to share!

I’d keep my distance from those gators.

It looks like I am close because I am zooming in with my camera, but I am up on a boardwalk while the gators are below.

Better that you found the gators than they finding you!

Sawgrass Lake was my actual backyard late 50’s all of 60’s. Stopped bulldozers & surveyors from putting in an extended housing development. That would have buried the whole area. This is what all of Pinellas County once looked like. I plotted all the boardwalks & paths in the 70’s. Came back in the 80’s to discover it was made into a preserve, than a park. In someways you can never go home. This has been an exception for me.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your experiences of this area – beautiful place that has been preserved for others to enjoy as a park as well as a preserve for this natural resource and environment!
