In Life Add Up
How do you see the little things in your life add up?
I take it 50/50! I see happiness, fulfillment and blessings. I see frustration, negative thoughts and stressors. Take your pick and press 1 for further assistance!
Here’s the kicker! The little stressors keep you in stress mode more than you think and that adds up. Those little stressors can really take a toll on your body, mind and spirit. I know my poor stress hormones think I am waging war and threatening my life. Sometimes you just have to wave the white flag of surrender and let it go!
I would like to think that the little things in life are just the way life is! However, I tend to stick my nose in, meddle and overcomplicate my life at times. I know I wear my emotions on my sleeve and take some things waaay to personal too. I need to think about keeping it simple!

I crave solitude or escape to recharge and reenergize my batteries! I enjoy taking time for myself as well as giving myself a little love and TLC. I get my positive energies flowing again and that feels great! Nothing better than a good read and a glass of wine.
I am learning that I enjoy 30 minutes to myself in the morning! I do not like to start my day rushing around because it simply throws me off and stresses me out. I feel like I will never catch up and that really kicks my poor stress hormones into high gear and into action. I make sure I take time out for myself throughout the day too!
The best way to reduce those stressors is to connect and communicate with your greatest someones on a daily basis! The connecting and communicating needs to be done in a good, positive way though. Tune in instead of tuning out! Remember to be short, simple and direct as well as ask for the person’s full attention too.
