The Spirit of Adventure

Getting Lost in This BIG World

I think I finally know one reason I am navigationally challenged! I was born a questioner and never really listened hard enough to hear the answers. So I became a wanderer who enjoys getting lost to explore and adventure! I was also born a challenger and prefer to keep moving forward on to the next thing and then the next thing.

I love having a spirit of adventure! I want to escape and just go anywhere and everywhere. I enjoy the thrill and the excitment. I love the process of journeying in getting to my destination too!

My greatest escape is to just anywhere that does not look remotely like an office – ha! I enjoy getting outside in the great outdoors and becoming one with nature. I do have places I go back to again and again. However, I love experiencing the NEW! when traveling, exploring and adventuring!

The journey per se is a vital part of reaching your destination. I always prefer travels by daylight. By night – everything is reduced to transport. 😦
Like you, I have places to return to over and over again. Getting to know new places is pretty awesome as well. And sometimes these new places become places to return to as well.
We love city trips. We love to explore new regions as well. I love the seaside, do not need sandy beaches. In general, I prefer places which are not crowded.

Oh for that blue and green in your photos. Beautiful.

I’d love to go on adventures but it hasn’t happened yet. My sense of adventure would include skydiving, maybe learning to kayak, hang gliding, etc. I want to do things and feel the wind in my face, etc. I would be an adrenaline junkie if I ever got to do these things haha. I would also love to just travel all over if I could. That would be so ideal! Maybe one day. 🙂

Love those pictures. It’s true that sometimes the best adventures happen when you do get lost. It might be a little stressful trying to find your way back to what you know, but after the stress passes, I always look back at the crazy things that happened while lost and think, “That was kind of fun!” (Although I will say I prefer not to be lost too often. Ha ha)

Yes, getting outdoors for me too, a new thing since I’ve been a city gal all my life! But we moved out of the city 6 years ago and nature is a big part of our lives now. Love it! I love all your photos, in this and your other posts.

From May 2015 - March 2016, Sherry and Sean traveled the country and lived in a 5th wheel R.V. They took pictures, hiked mountains, and saw amazing sights. They are now settled in Fort Myers, Florida and are continuing to take pictures and seeing amazing sights. This is the blog of their journey from leaving St. Louis and starting an adventure, to living in Florida and doing photography. Enjoy the stories, and leave comments if you have one to share!
