Oh So Natural
Mandy Burstein wrote an article on mindbodygreen.com called 10 Inspiring Quotes I Heard While Practicing Yoga. Mandy is a yoga instructor and writer based in La Jolla, California. I loved in Mandy’s bio that she says, “she passionately empowers people to become the best version of themselves, both on and off the mat.” I believe in becoming and being a better version of myself!
The one sentence in her article that resonated with me was the *Bonus! Oh So Beautiful, Natural and Powerful!
*Bonus: Namaste. – Possibly the most beautiful word ever said in yoga.
There are many interpretations, my favorite being:
“The divine light in me bows to the divine light in you.” ~Mandy Burstein
My wish one day is to get back into the practice of yoga. Yoga is the ultimate workout with myself for myself and my whole being! I am going to carry this with me throughout this year. I loved saying, “Namaste” at the end of a yoga session! That one word is so enlightening and welcoming to me and my being.

Oh, me too. I have been craving some yoga lately and hope to get to a class tomorrow. Namaste 🙂 (though I’m probably using that incorrectly…)

You are using it correctly Cecilia; there is no right or wrong way.
Namaste:) – Renee

What a great quote and sentiment. I absolutely want to be the best version of myself I can muster. There’s a yoga place 2 blocks from my house that I keep meaning to try- you’re motivating to finally do it!

I’ve never tried yoga, but two of my aunts are devotees.

Stopped by from Susie’s party. I’ve never tried yoga, but it seems like so many people I know love it. I may have to check it out for that reason alone. Best of luck on doing it more regularly.

I stopped in from Susie Lindau’s UAAD post and loved this one offshoot.
I use Namaste all the time in my emails, posts, and such. My own favorite definition: The God in me honors the God in you – is so very powerful.
Thanks,
Scott
