Facing What Is In the Mirror Head On!
Do you give yourself tough love? At least a “Pep Talk” at times! Do you ever face the mirror head on? Give yourself a little affirmation and say “You Can Do This“! Just do not answer yourself okay – ha!
Seeing the Beauty . . .
Give yourself some tough love and compassion! Let yourself reflect and discover what might be holding you back. Give yourself a little push in the right direction. Making those life choices!
Feel the L-O-V-E!
Give yourself some insight and a new perspective! Especially when you are torn as to what choices to make in your life. That “what to do when you do not know what to do”! You have to decide if your brain or your heart is going to lead or maybe even both.

Here’s to Making a Difference in Your Life with Some Tough Love!!!
In Your Being
Most of you experience changes to your whole being on a monthly or at least a seasonally basis!
My sleep schedule changes and screws with my eating along with my general existence from day to day! I start thinking about hibernating once again. I refrain from the aisles and aisles and aisles of Halloween candies. I hope to not see or hear anything November or December Holiday-like in September, but it seems to get earlier and earlier every year. I start thinking about the cold and flu season rearing its ugly head – YUCKO!
I have to adjust my balance for my whole being or be swinging from one extreme to the next! I take good care of myself throughout the year, but especially in the Fall and Winter months (i.e. colds, flu, slips, falls, driving in hazardous conditions, etc.).
- Staying hydrated in drinking plenty of water every day. Gets rid of some of those toxins by flushing the system too.
- Getting my greens every day as well as my full serving of fruits and veggies too. Get those essential vitamins and minerals!
- Taking time for myself to do what I want to do and to just relax, rest and recharge. I enjoy a good nap every so often!
- Staying active by getting outside or exercising to keep me motivated, especially during the sluggish months where it is dark when you wake up and dark when you drive home in the evening.
- Keeping my sweet tooth on the down low with the sugar intake.
- Snacking. It helps keep my energy up, my brain stimulated and engaged and my nervous system protected. Get those Omegas (fatty acids) too!
- I love having a stack of great reads available! It ignites my inspiration and sparks my creativity.
- I usually start the travel planning process for next year in the Fall months.
- I get out of my food rut and start cooking and baking again in the Fall and Winter months.
- Laughter is great for the immune system and does a body good too! Talk about a mood booster!

Gaining a NEW! Appreciation
I strongly believe you get more with honey than vinegar! I am discovering that change happens more naturally when it comes from a place of love, compassion and kindness instead of from a place of negativity, anger and judgment. I need to be less defensive and reactionary. Not everything has to be a fight that you have to do battle with!
Here is one I came up with . . . “Adjust Your Attitude, Your Perspective is Showing!”. ~RSheridan
I need to be more open and accept the opportunities that come into my life! I have choices when it comes to how I act or even react to what is happening to me or even around me. I think to myself that there is always another way to go about making things happen. I need to release and surrender to what I cannot control and stop with making quick judgements too!

Sometimes I seek change and other times it just seeks me out! I want to take care, comfort and nourish myself and my whole being. I want to love, be kind and nurture myself and my whole being. There are times where I need to be in the moment and there are times where I just need to keep moving forward in living my life!
How Are Your Perspectives In Living Your Life? Here’s to Living Life With Love and Kindness as well as Appreciation and Gratitude!!!
Left and/or Right Orientation!
Creativity has many aspects to it! Where it originates and orientates is up to you!
Ability to Create
One person may be able to create while another person may be able to be resourceful when it comes to creativity. People are writers and composers. People are creative and artistic. People are problem-solvers with resources and solutions. People are experimentors and inventors. The sky is the limit when it comes to creative orientation!
I have an active imagination! My active imagination spells trouble for me when I am not able to tap into it, especially in professional settings. I love imagining, dreaming and creating! I enjoy letting in a little playfulness throughout my day too.
There are no rules to being creative! It is okay to think outside of the box and release the mind by thinking freely. It is okay to bend the rules and color outside of the lines. It is okay to think and create in many colors and crack open that 120 count of color sticks!
I am very much an introvert when it comes to being creative! I want to be alone when I creative write. I can get a little prickly when someone or something is trying to photo bomb my perfect shot. I do not mind sharing my creativity with other people.
Let your rational and emotional selves explore and discover creativity! Find what motivates and inspires you. Tap into that creative process and just release it. Break free of the tedium and boredom!
I am ambitious and driven when it comes to my creative passions! So either watch out, become a part of the creative process or get out of my way! I love tapping into the left-side and right-side of my brain when it comes to creativity. I enjoy releasing my rational self and emotional self when it comes to creativity.

Hydrate Your Body
Here comes the Fall and Winter months again and the need to stay hydrated for your overall health and wellness!
When I moved to the high mountain desert I got altitude sickness because was my body was adjusting to the change, but I also was not drinking enough water. Then you add in the dryness here. I wear moisturizer and sunscreen 365 here. I have to be hydrate smart as well as sun smart here.
Hydration is key to your body in being able to function efficiently and effectively! It cleanses your body of toxins and helps your immune system. It helps you maintain your energy. It helps keep your skin, hair and nails healthy and looking good.
I reach for the liquids when I feel hungry, tired or headachy. I have a water bottle with me at all times to stay hydrated throughout the day. There are so many alternatives than drinking tap water! You can infused water with fruits, veggies and herbs, like mint. You can add in a cup of tea. Hot, cold or on ice. There is even a fridge out now with a sparkling water option!
I usually start stocking up on herbal teas and lemons in the Fall and Winter months! I want to keep my immunity strong and myself healthy. I also want to keep my hydration as natural as possible too.
I have learned that it is worth the investment in having different water bottles and carafes as well as maybe a filtered water system too. I am able to hydrate myself better with a squeeze water bottle while biking. I invested in a CamelBak with a water bladder for mountain hiking. There are so many options to explore in order to choose the one that works best for you and your needs!
