A Rut & Doing the Limbo
Have you every experienced this place in your life? I feel like I am stuck in a very bad dance where it is 2 steps forward and 3 steps backward with a limbo that is impossible. Oh and do not forget the ruts! You keep bumping against yourself and other people. In the back of your mind you wish everyone would just get out of your way, including yourself!
This place has frustration and confusion hiding in plain sight. This place is ripe with impatience! Every place you come to seems like a challenge put in your way to test you and test you again. You start to panic that there is no way out or at least no end in sight. Alright already, I have had just about enough!
What do you do? Where do you turn? Do you surrender and accept your fate or keep continuing on? It just seems hopeless some days. I just know there is a ray of sunshine somewhere around here! Now where is it!
Here’s to Getting Unstuck and Hopefully NOT THE HARD WAY!!!

I have been out of work since January and at this point I am begining to feel like I will never work again. But I decided to try and do some volunteer work in the industry I would like to work i to beef up my resume a little.

Volunteering is a great way to work as well as network. You can also look at professional groups in your area for networking and volunteering opportunities too (can usually be invited as a guest the first time). Good Luck!
Happy Monday:) – Renee

You know, I tried that with one local group because I really believe in their mission. But they have blown me off every time so I am looking elsewhere.

All the time! I’ve just started my own company which is hard work so myself and that dance: very well acquainted. I also want to travel so the rut can seem never-ending.
Keep going! There are endless quotations that I could let out about pain being temporary but success lasting forever but really if you want something enough (happiness for example), it may be tough for a while but if it’s worth it, you’ll find a way!

Thank you and you too!
I hope that I didn’t sound dismissive! Those bad days are horrible but they’re all part of the, wait for it cheesy comment coming, journey (although don’t try us that when we’re in the middle of one!).
And think as well, by sharing your struggles you’re helping others to know they’re not alone!

Kerry –
Not at all – have your moment and then move on – do not dwell is the key! We are SO NOT ALONE:)

Giggles! We are both thinking the same things must be with the change of season. The best thing is not to dwell too long but in can be hard.
April 29th, 2013 at 1:17 PM
Change of Season and for me a little bit of just shaking things up too!
🙂

I have been there before. What I like to do is surround myself with positive people and reenergise by doing something you love to do (like read, write etc) ! 🙂

I agree, hang in there. Being stuck gets to be a frame of mind. Try to look at things as opportunity! Just a different perspective on things. I like your snail photos. They seem to get stuck a lot. That or stick to things.
April 29th, 2013 at 5:00 PM
Thanks so much Donna! Yes, stay positive in the mindset and try to look at it from the perspective of an opportunity:) Ha! – snails are interesting creatures.
Happy Monday – Renee

Yikes! Snails. I don’t like those things. They ruin my garden. I hope you get our of your rut soon, Renee! I know you will, because you’re so positive. But try throwing salt over your shoulder for good luck (it might kill some snails as well).
April 30th, 2013 at 8:44 AM
Char –
I know snails are not good for gardens, but thought this guy was too cute not to capture! Ha! – about the salt! I am staying on the sunny side:)
Happy Tuesday – Renee

Indeed, it is always two steps forward, one step back when it comes to eating better and losing weight. A continual struggle to stay on track, but never giving up. That is what leads to success.

Love that – leads to SUCCESS:)
