Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone truly puts the “wild” in “wild”erness! The park is MASSIVE with plenty to see and do. Just think about the fact that you are standing on an ACTIVE VOLCANO! Then you have the bison nearing the end of their mating season and the elk beginning their mating season. A WHOLE LOT OF WILD GOING ON!!!
Checking Out the Sights
There were multiple people in front of the lodge, so took a picture of the cabin below.

These images are stunning, especially the river ones. And what is that little stone building by the river?

Audrey –
Thanks and I am not really sure what that stone building is (will have to research). I just loved the reflection of the stone building on the water:)

I like all the signs, especially the one about being naturally reseeded. You’re having a great adventure!

I became addicted to taking pics of the signs – ha! I took about a 1000 pics while in that area; so much to explore, discover and adventure for sure!

Great photos! When I camped in yellowstone, I was sitting by a brook reading and a fox came right next to me – close enough to touch – to get a drink of water. It was amazing!!! Enjoy!!!

Awesome photos again. Love the peace and stillness of the water….gorgeous shots. And Roaring Mt was really doing “it’s thing” for you! That rocks!

Judy –
Hit Roaring Mountain in the morning and it was the perfect time to capture because later on it really was not doing much.
