Keeping IT Interesting!
I have thought about doing this series for a while now. Here is the premise behind this series and basically in a nutshell it is learning about writing from the bloggers who write on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. This will be a 4 part series.
Engaging Content
I can tell you I stumble, fumble, suck, and fall flat at times when it comes to writing engaging content. I feel like creative writing comes natural to me, but the tough part is putting content out there that is engaging to your readers. I found my stride recently in adding CravesLife to my blog and my blog took off without me – ha! I have so much to learn and this is sorta where this series came from.
The key is practice, then practice some more and then practice again! I am a work in progress still when it comes to engaging content and learning more everyday.
What I have learned:
- For me I like to mix up the content of my blog
- It is okay to ask for feedback from your readers as to what is working and what they want more of
- Practice, Practice, Practice

I’m amazed that you say you stumble when writing. You’re posts are always so right on the money and to the point. Love them!

I try to make everything I write about, whether it’s a personal story, a recipe or a bunch of pictures, self-deprecating. The only way I know how to appeal to people, in writing and in life, is to be a clown so no matter the subject matter maybe someone is laughing. I don’t know that it’s particularly engaging but this way I never have a lack of content. Great post, it was a thinker!
